WP Super Edit 2.4.3

This update attempts to fix some issues related to multi-site languages and other problems I’ve experienced on some complex site configurations. I’ve also added some initial support for the Distraction Free Writing fullscreen button.

With the WP_Editor becoming a more solid API I may be able to make some more decent upgrades to WP Super Edit in 2012.

  1. Hi, I’ve found an SQL error in the v2.4.4 installer.

In the create table scripts you’ve got default values on some columns of “text” type, which my installation of MySql rejects. This prevents the tables from creating and the arrange buttons functionality throws a PHP error.

I edited the file and tested it without the default value – it all seems to work well with WP3.2.1

    1. Thanks Jason. I knew the old SQL was tricky a couple of years ago, but couldn’t remember the reasoning behind it. Removal of all the empty default strings seemed to have cleared things up.

  2. Dear Mr. ,
Thank you for your “WP Super Edit” plugin. Entire WordPress looks useless without it. It doesn’t work for some reason for me. The errors are:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/content/60/10062560/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-edit/wp-super-edit.core.class.php on line 114 and defined in /home/content/60/10062560/html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990

Do you have idea what could be the reason?
    Thank you in advance,
