I worked in a complex Web environment with servers using IIS on Windows 2000, Apache on Solaris and Apache on RedHat Linux. The sites were developed by a couple of programming teams using Delphi, ASP, Perl, ColdFusion, and PHP programming environments with database systems using MSSQL and MySQL.

Skills

Creative Skills:

I am skilled in various forms of creative media including drawing, airbrushing, oil painting, prismacolor, photography, and computer imaging. Design skills include some of the classic graphic design tasks such as marker comping, typography, and paste-up / mechanical production.

Computer Skills:

A computer is powerful tool, and I have been fortunate to learn many operating systems and applications as both a user and systems administrator. I have experience with Windows and Macintosh Client computers, and as a webmaster and systems administrator I have experience with Windows NT, Mac OS 7.5 – 10.4 (server and workstation), and Linux (both PC – RedHat, and Macintosh – MkLinux and LinuxPPC.) I have experience using several software packages, including Blender3d, FormZ, ElectricImage, LightWave, Director, Shockwave, Premier, Illustrator, StreamLine, Photoshop, QuarkXpress, InDesign, Dreamweaver, BBEdit, SSH, VI, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Firefox (Mozilla), Quicktime, and many other applications on various operating systems, and I can provide specific information with version numbers upon request.

Webmaster / System Administrator Skills:

I have compiled, installed and used Apache, PHP, PERL, MySQL, SSH, SSL, Postfix, Cyrus-IMAP, Darwin Streaming Server, and other software packages for Internet Design and publishing in sever environments using Linux, Solaris, and MacOS X. I am also familiar with the use of IIS, MSSQL server, PERL, PHP, and other software packages in a WindowsNT / 2000 environment.I have maintained multiple user systems, and I have good user support skills.

Specialized Computer Skills:

I have multiple talents including Internet Design and Programming, 3D Design and Rendering, nonlinear video editing, Multimedia Design and Programming, CD/DVD/Video Mastering, and other duties using technology as a publishing medium.

Management Skills:

I am proficient managing simultaneous projects, maintaining good client communications, and keeping accurate billing records. I have worked well within creative teams and directed programmers, designers, interns, and other production staff. As a freelance creative contractor, I have developed systems that I use for invoicing, time tracking, and project management.
